Position Available:                 Technical Producer, Amanda Seales (part time)


Dallas based Radio Network targeting the African-American community is seeking a part time Technical Producer for the Amanda Seales syndicated radio show.

Candidate will be required to work Sunday-Thursday from 6PM-11PM EST and Friday from 12PM-3PM EST. 

Position is based in Washington DC. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of audio board operations for the Amanda Seales show.
  • Collaborate with talent and production staff to produce audio elements to brand daily radio show and podcast.   
  • Assist engineering with troubleshooting technical problems relating to show equipment.  
  • Prepare and maintain program commercial logs for syndicated program. 
  • Produce Programming packages as needed.
  • Load Wide Orbit with all files needed to run shows including music, jingles, sound effects, interviews, and comedy bits.
  • Load daily show segments into Synchronicity distribution system.
  • Import commercials to Broadcast computer at scheduled times.
  • Provide creative imaging services including voice ID’s, promos, pre-recorded shows, and special production for show.
  • Produce daily show promos and send to radio station affiliates.
  • Upload daily News-Talk programs for affiliates broadcasting via delayed programming.
  • Assist as back up for other syndicated programming as directed by management.


  • Extremely organized and able to effectively prioritize tasks while being attentive to details.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to work in a diverse environment.
  • Creative problem solving to make spontaneous decisions under time constraints. 
  • Strong technical skills including knowledge of basic audio editing equipment-Wide Orbit and VoxPro.
  • Dependable with flexibility to adjust work schedule as needed in order to support syndicated show(s) demands. 
  • High level of creativity and ability to develop show concepts.
  • Ability to operate Microsoft based and Apple based computers.


  • BA/BS college level degree preferred and/or five plus years relevant experience in broadcasting or related field.
  • Network experience preferred. 

Compensation:                       $15-$20 hourly rate
