Position:                     Systems Administrator

Overview:

 

National Radio Network targeting the African-American community is seeking a full time Systems Administrator to administer, configure, and maintain server systems, applications, and Active Directory for enterprise infrastructure.  Candidate will also ensure all systems are in compliance with enterprise security standards and policies in addition to administering and maintaining network storage solutions, network infrastructure and related systems. 

Position is based in North Dallas.  No teleworking available.    

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Install, update and maintain Windows Server operating systems and updates.
  • Administer and maintain Active Directory and Office365 accounts.
  • Administer internal and external DNS.
  • Administer DHCP Services for Wired and Wireless networks.
  • Administer FTP servers with data replication.
  • Manage Corporate Hardware Life Cycles from delivery to disposal.
  • Monitor, identify and resolve issues with applications, systems, and network resources.
  • Monitor, track and resolve issues with infrastructure hardware and resource utilization.
  • Maintain and secure corporate data.
  • Plan for future system enhancements and growth.
  • Create and maintain system documentation.
  • Ability to respond to after-hours issues.
  • Provide backup support for other IT personnel.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be able to track and locate assets on an ongoing basis.
  • Must be able to independently troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Must be able to document and track work objectives and progress.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with all levels of employees.
  • Detail oriented, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and assess priorities.
  • Must be able to work nights and/or weekends and be on call 24/7 as needed.

 

Experience/Education: 

  • 2-3 years of experience administering and setting up Windows Servers.
  • Must have installed Windows Server 2012, 2016, and/or 2019 within last 12 months.
  • 2-3 years of experience administering Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Must have edited Enterprise Group Policy within last 12 months.
  • 2-3 years of experience installing and supporting corporate applications.
  • Experience managing WSUS or SCCM.
  • Experience managing and supporting wired and wireless networks.
  • 4 years of experience supporting desktop systems.

 

Compensation:     Competitive hourly rate based on qualifications/experience.

 

Location:         Dallas, TX.  No relocation will be provided.

 

Reports To:        Vice President, Business Administration and Operations, IT
